Rattling Seat

I don't know if this is something anyone else has come across, but I keep hearing an irritating noise coming from the passenger seat which sounds like a coin rolling around inside a plastic housing, but I've crawled all around the car and cannot find anything loose in there.

Has anyone else had the same thing or know where I should be looking for missing change?

Loose change is a real pain in the Rs to find in the IS sometimes!

I have a squeeking coming from the passenger seat though! Now that's annoying - feel like that bloke from the old Peugeot ad's with the squeeky ear ring woman!

Solved the rattle.

Found a screw rolling around in the rear ashtray.

Lets hope it wasnt the screw holding the horizontal spoungy flange to the amplification cross member ;)

Funny that you mention it but I have had my IS200 for two years and I have had a main holding screw/bolt fall out of the driver's and passenger's seat - it's a joke.

Both times it began with a rattling noise and then the seat was lose and then i found the offending bolts rolling around in the car!!

Lexus fixed it on warranty of course, but I was a bit hacked off as the CD player broke in the first week and I've had to have the gear stick tightened twice to stop it vibrating, and the handbrake tightened twice.

grrrr.....!
