has anyone experienced this?

in the front wheel arch on the drivers side a panel (looks like a protective covering) is coming off. the panel is at the top of the wheel arch. i have not been doing any rough driving. the car is only 9 months old gs300 se 02.

i should prob bring it back to the dealer as it is under warrenty.
