hi...i want to lowering my is200. can anyyone help me to tell me what kind of suspension i need and how much would it cost

there are many suspension systems out there

springs,dampers and coilover(spring and damper in one)

for springs alone your looking at a anything +/- £200,these will lower your car anywhere between 20/35 /possibly even 40 mm

coilovers cost anything from £2000 +

but these will lower the car all the way down to 80mm

For ~30mm drop go for Eibach or TTE (also Eibach) lowering springs!

If you uprate the springs it is a good idea to uprate the dampers also.

If you won't do it at the same time you will have to do so some time later because you will damage the stck dampers.

If you uprated the springs to no more than -30mm on relitively new dampers you should have no problems, but if you've done a lot of miles you would be better to uprated the dampers. If you want to go lower you will need to uprated them to shorter items to stop you riding the bump stops all the time. Also get a Lexus dealer to check your alignment after you do anything.
