Why is everyone so anally fixated with 0-60 anyway? It is just a speed chosen by motoring journalists many years ago, presumably because it has a near metric equivalent. Car manufacturers mess up a cars entire gearing to get as good a 0-60 time as they can.

Times like 30-60 or 40-60 are far more important for everyday driving.
