Help With Performance Problems/mods For 93 Es300

 Share

Recommended Posts

I'm a proud owner of an automatic 1993 es300. i've only had it for a few months. i got it for about $3,500.00 with 98k miles on it. the body is great other than 2 deep key marks on the driver side door.

i have a few problems with it and was wondering what should be done.

when i start the car, its gets up fine, but when i put it into drive and push slightly on the pedal the car jerks a few times till its about 3000 rpms. then after it warms up, it runs well.

another problem i have is the catalytic converter is leaking which is making a horrible noise. i was wondering if i should redo the whole exhaust or just replace the converter.

other than that it runs fine. if anyone has any tips on performance moding and visual mods to do that would be great.

thanks
