  • 2 weeks later...

Well its here………….on my drive………….

Had a nice drive back from the SVA centre who did a top job.

Car is awesomely fast seems as quick as the Aristo Vertex (not sure at 120 mph plus though) picks up well and the 6 speed auto transmission in tipronic mode is very good.

Got most of the gadgets working as well…………

Looks fantastic, glad it's all finally sorted........I must say it's very tempting indeed...... :shutit:

When you say the gadgets are working, which ones are you talking about? Is the radio, satnav, etc all working fine? Are there any bits that are still stuck in Japanese?

anyone with a MM IS250 ? is it one cd at a time ?

I also have a hard drive.............wtf........what do I do with that ?

Sounds like you have an HDD unit fitted to the auxiliary. My ML MM also has a 60 gig one, but it's an iPod  ...comes up on the screen as a secondary CD drive with the Lexus iPod integration unit. I haven't tried to run an additional drive through the Aux port under the central armrest as well as the iPod which is now in the glovebox.

The onboard disc changer is a six slot for DVD or CD. The Nav unit runs off a separate DVD unit, not a hard drive, and all you should need is to get the latest European DVD to stop it talking Japanese. Dave.. PM your email address and I'll scan and send the disc removal instructions.
