My IS had its first trip over to The Island at Easter this year. Less fun than taking the bike, but I can confirm that an IS300 goes pretty well on the mountain road. I can recommend a very good family run hotel to stay at, although I must warn you that they drive a Scooby!

Thinking of July time as weather should be better then.

Just an idea but think it would be a cracker and a possible alternative to the Ring trip.................£/Euro rate is a bummer..............

Indeed it is, got a mate that works at the harbour as well *may* be able to get discounted ferry from Heysham.

And also got a mate who had/has a hotel over there will have to see if he's still got it.

sounds as a good plan - count me in :) I've just back two weeks ago from my EUROTRIP ;) I've got maximum from my Lexie. But it was boring after one hour - straight roads - I need a challenge ;)

wouldnt mind goin myself, get belfast to isle of man ferry. if it next summer might even have a charger or a blower and get to try it out properly
