The roof open more often than the window, though I smoke "rollies" which don't stick so badly, and only maybe 5 a day, and not usually while driving. I don't throw the butts in the road, that is why I have an ashtray! Are you one of those non-smokers who think all smokers are *****?

If smoking doesn't bother me then I'm not bothered :) Having to breath smoke, getting butts stuck in the radiator grill (car then smells like an ashtray for miles), having smokers dump the cellophane off the packet in the first garden (ours) they pass after leaving the shop are the sort of things that bug me. At the moment I'm watching my dad slowly dying of lung cancer from smoking too so that probably doesn't help. My father in law tried to give up for years. When he put his life in God's hands Jesus gave him the strength to quit overnight. That was cool.

On the IS220 the ash tray is so tiny its not much use for anything. I usually put car park tickets in there so I can get them out easily at the barrier. Thats about it. The one on the IS200 was better. I used to use that for change and stuff.

Yeh, well I guess some people are just inconsiderate idiots. It is a nasty disgusting habit and I agree knowbody should be subjected to it if they don't wish to be. I certainly will never smoke around anyone who wishes me not to. Or if in the car with a non smoker etc. Isn't so much better now it's banned places? Pubs smell like beer, and nightclubs smell of...well... sweat! Dropping butts in the street and rubbish in your garden is just littering, I get in my garden too and it's not nice, and it's not just fag pack plastic!

I am sorry to hear of your father, and I genuinly mean that.

am a non smoker anyway but mine jus has change iinit and i drilled a tiny lil hole in the bottom of mine and put a switch in mine for me amp so i dont have to have me subs on all the time B)

and my ciggi lighter came with 1 of those power point covers but mines got lexus on it too?

I take it the IS doesn't have a change draw then.... I keep mints in mine, was only looking the other day if I could remove the ashtray and lighter and make a bigger space for the sweets..... I didn't get where I am today (fat Ba***rd) by not haveing enough room for sweets.....

Mind you I am on a diet and I've just lost 1 stone so I'm not eating any at the moment, so like aztecbandit1, if you want a mint send me your address and I'll post you one.....

How much faster will adding your mint to my car make it go ? Will I have to tell my insurance company ?

Sorry did I not say, they are the latest in car sweets, vortexpowerbandnitroussupercharged mints, your car will turn into a rocket....................

Does anyone know if you can get a nice aux cover for the cigarette lighter socket instead of having the lighter itself?

My missus has a Fiesta that has a nice plastic cover, I keep meaning to try that and see if it fits...

What I would really like is to replace the ashtray with some kind of dock for my iPod Nano. That would be really cool. Wiring in power underneath from the cigarette lighter too!

How many would you like! i get 1000000 of them at work! Come in all the new cars and we take them out!
