Proceedure For Starter Replacement

I know it's a major project but funds now dictate that it's a DIY job to replace the starter.

I think it has failed due to fitting a "powerband" mod

I have just ordered the rebuild kit to repair my own so no problem there but is there a tutorial anywhere with pictures to cover the removal/refitting?

ouch! having followed that link, just how many gaskets do you need to buy to change the starter motor and while bits are apart whats worth cleaning with carb cleaner?
