Replacing Brake Pads And Discs

Hi guys

my front brake discs and pads needs replacing, but i don't want to take garage. Time to learn myself, but unfortunately i never done before.

Can anyone guide me through, preferable with images, if its not difficult.

I was so lazy, so took it down to local garage, and let them to pull my pans down. It cost me £200, parts and labour cost for front discs and pads. While my car was on ramp, they showed me that left shocker is leaking as well. Quote me £140 fitted, so next job shocker.

It wasn't Kwik-fit was it ? I would be inclined to get a second opinion on the shock absorber and/or to clean it up yourself and see if it really is leaking (or they just sprayed some oil on it to make it look like that).

Id 4got about this my other half reminded me we took our Vectra there & they did the exact same so probably toutin 4 work Screwdriver job he went nuts & was gunin 4 1 of the guys behind the counter cos it had just passed its MOT so would have failed had that been like they said so just watch em :tsktsk:

Throw them away.

Put the new ones on.
