just seen prolex have the Jun flywheel for £342 i'm presuming their prices include vat? and yeah i'll phone tomorrow and get them to send a picture to me

Dont expect the jun flywheel sort of next day mate :o i know Tom (who is having the supercharger work done) is still waiting for delivery of his :o from October time i think :o

well if I have to go the new route I could get a Katana Flywheel from Totally Disastrous for £295 or a Jun Lightweight Flywheel for £342 hmmmz, the specialist are charging £34 for fitting of the flywheel too

34 for fittin the flywheel.............your kiddin they have it all stripped anyway and theirs only 6 bolts holding the f/w on!!!!!!!!its a 2 min job!!!!!!!!!

In this instance if TDi have the Katana flywheel on the shelf it may be the quickest option!

Try a motor factors first though to see what parts they can source just in case there's an OEQ variant out there somewhere

Might be worth popping a post up asking for a 2nd hand one mate - not sure if any of the lads who upgraded theirs may have them still laying about - may be an option to get you back on the road and then you can worry about swapping it for a new one at a later date!

The exact same thing has gone wrong with my IS200Sport and the garage quoted me £1200 to fix the clutch and flywheel.

Had a look on eBay but not seem any, anybody else spotted anymore 2nd hands ones at crazy prices by any chance?

Thats crazy, the engines are only getting between £200 and £350 complete. Would be cheaper buying an engine and stripping it for parts!! Sparkystav has one for sale at the moment.....
