Hi guys, i've been very very tempted by this Cobra exhaust that's on E-bay, has anyone else got one of these? any insights as to the quality? sound in town and on motorways? any pics?

funny how it fits all is200 apart from the sport??

Just bought one on the basis that I'm confident its easy to fit and will sound good as I've heard Cobras on other cars with lesser engines sounding good ( deep growl rather than over the top, and not deafening on motorways). I'll report back on performance etc once I've fitted it (hopefully at the weekend)

Bought it and when i had it fitted found out that it didn't fit ( end pipe didn't match the bumper, centre pipe fouled on the suspension and hangers way off alignment). They claimed i had a sport which is rubbish according to my log book and others on LOC who advised me the chassis is the same). I've now got to pay to send it back and have ordered a Janspeed as I've been assured its direct fit all IS200's and is the same price direct from the factory.

i was considering a janspeed, raising the money as we speak infact.

why are you paying to send it back?? they sent something which wasnt fit for the purpoe of which it was advertised...

i would get on the phone to them and give them a good shouting and get the to arrange courrier to get it piked up

Mine is running a Janspeed at the moment, it is not at all loud but fits perfectly and IMHO looks good and better than standard, I fitted it using a trolley jack, axle stands and a socket set on my back drive very easy fit. It hasn't been on a dyno so no idea as to the BHP improvement but there was certainly a slight increase in throttle response but only really noticeable when a K&N was fitted and ECU reset.

i know you said its not at all loud but is there any change at all in sound, eg: volume and tone wise?

My car is currently having a couple of small mods done to it, so I can't photograph it at the moment. It is louder but not to boy racer levels. I have a feeling when I get it back it will be very loud though as all the cats are coming off and a turbo will be pushing the gasses a bit quicker!!
