Ls430 Rear Camber Bars

My left side tires, both front & rear were cupping on the inside only on my 06 LS430 after 42K miles. Took car into dealer for tires and he performed a 4 wheel alignment and said I needed new rear camber bars both right and left sides.

Although the right side tires seemed ok wear wise with 42K on the tires, service mgr said both camber bars needed to be replaced.

What are they and why would a bar go bad?

I've had a look on the suspension exploded diagram and cannot find a part called a "camber bar."There is a Toe control link assy and its adjuster part # 48706-50010 and 48452-32040 respectively.

It seems strange only to have affected only one side but also the front tyre as well,I take it the car was new when you bought it?

As to why these have failed I would ask the dealer this question.

LS430 air suspension is complicated and expensive.

Finally welcome to the LOC
