I have a GS300 1998 and need to replace the front upper ball joints, I have already replaced the both lower ones but I have play in the upper ones too. I have been looking around at it seems they come with the control arms and cost an arm and a leg! Replacement parts £175 each... anyone replaced them and got them at a reasonable rate? please drop me a line...

Thanks

I have tried 2 routes for these - internet supplier and local motor factor. The best was a local motor factor and the upper arms were about £70 each inc VAT (for genuine parts.) The arm is actually a complete wishbone and the ball joint is not a separate part - but £175 is very expensive. They are not difficult to replace.
