Hi all,

Hope you can help' i need some sort of a sketch or diagram for the full dashboard of the is200, cannot seem to find a pdf file or topic anywhere. The reason is so i can replace the heater matrix. Seem's striaght foward but I have not done this on a lexus before so i do not want to encounter any problems. It is a tricky job and time consuming, but has to be done. I would appreciate some help or advise on the best way to remove the dash.

Thanks

This job has now been done. Took 6hours to complete. Not as complicated as i thought, pretty straight foward. Just had to open loads of nuts & bolts, the heater core was slightly akward but manageable. The heaters are now hotter than your oven!

Replaced it with a tested matrix which came out of a back end damaged 2004 is200. The full unit. Entire dashboard was removed, job went very smoothly and was completed in 6hours. Will post a few pic's soon...

The old heater matrix

In order to open the heater matrix the silver strut bar had to be removed along with the black complete heater motor, then only the heater core was able to slide out

Unfortunatly did not take pic's when i removed all this...

Here it is all back together looking lovely!
