Hi all not been on for a while due to moving several times and divorce...

well has the topic says I have a creak from ther front end nearside and after reading old post me thinks it is the anti roll bar bush as I have checked the other ones related to the suspension and no movement.

so how cheap are they or has anyone got any that they don't need and want to part with for some green backs

cheers

Get some silicone lubricant spray (£4 in Halfords) and give the bushes a spray.

I always spray the bushes when I service the car. It's surprising how much difference it makes to the ride and stops them from drying out and wearing.

some wd40 will fix it right away, but best to grease up the bushes, as the creaking will come & go'

worth checking the top wishbone arm bushes'

I have a similar issue but more when the steering is being turned. A squeal sound from the f/o/side. This am I took the wheel off and greased / WD40'd the ball joints and any movable connectors I could get to (track rod ends etc). The squeal is still just as bad as before. My local garage had a quick look last week and reckons it's just that the bushes etc have dried out having had moisture in back when we had the snow, says he's seen quite a few suspension issues from that recently.

Any other ideas on where / what to try?

thanks

Had the same issues some years ago. Used to happen after about 30mins driving and when braking. A creaking sound to the front nearside. The Service Manager at Lexus Woodford drove the car and luckily experienced what I was complaining about. The problem was resolved by lubricating the ARB bushes. The problem returned some months later and was again resolved by lubricating the ARB bushes. Has not to date (several years later) been a problem.
