Air Con Not Working

as it says the air con is not working, it stopped working so got it regassed and it lasted a week and stopped again. got told it is not the big rad at the front the small condenser, anyone got one forsale and where is it..

You sure it's not the condensor/radiator?

My rad went and my air con doesn't work. After rad removal I now found out why my air con doesn't work. Full of holes on the rear of it. (the side that faces the radiator)

However if it really isn't your condensor/radiator then you must mean the evaporator?

The evaporator is situated behind your clocks in the cabin.

Looks like a whole dash removal job. YIKES!!!!

Before you go ripping out evaporators, I'd get a second opinion from an aircon specialist who knows what he is on about... Evaporator failure on these cars is pretty rare so I would look closer at the condenser and pipework.... Look closely round the system looking for patches of oil on the pipework or components...

DO NOT allow anyone to use any form of leak stop product in your car...

Hi, I would tend to agree that its the condenser,had a Xedos 6 years ago,had air con regassed couple weeks later was blowing warm turned out it was condenser,had it changed and gassed again and was fine thereafter,hope this helps.
