Hi everyone,
My is200 key has been damaged and i was wandering if i bought a off the market key from ebay which is an uncut blade and got it cut from a locksmith then i just put my immobilizer in it from
my original key will it work?

If the damage is not to the electronics section you should be able to transplant the parts into a new blank key casing, they are fairly cheap on fleabay, I did this to a GS300 key fob although I did have to fit a bit of cardboard packing in as the buttons weren't flush but it does the job.
I also understand that there are 2 blade lengths so make sure you get the correct one when ordering.
