Does This Car Have Acc/pcs?

hi,I am looking what's available on the market at the mo as I am looking to replace my 99 gs300 sport in the new year with a mk3,one criteria the replacement must meet is that it has to have adaptive cruise...

I quite like the look of this one http://tiny.cc/opox9 but can anyone tell from the pictures if it has ACC? the seller doesn't know and i am awaiting a reply...

any other thoughts on this car/pricing?

A motor dealer who doesn't know or want to check eh.

I found this spec list for the GS300 but no mention of ACC.

It should also be mentioned in the driver's handbook either fitted as standard or as an option at least then the dealer may be able to find the button if fitted.

Its not a standard future on the SE or the SE-L so unless it was put on as a extra it wont have it.

I am not sure, but believe it is fitted behind the front “L” badge, so you should be able to see it.

A photo of the steering wheel is the only sure way - as there's an extra button for the ACC distance control. It shows the outline of a vehicle facing left with 'radar waves' coming from the front of it:

This GS doesn't have the extra button (below the DISP and 'voice command' buttons on the right hand side of the wheel)

Whereas this one very clearly does:

Certainly on the GS450h the easy way to tell is that the ACC/PCS option was only available with a sunroof - so if a GS450h has a sunroof then it also has ACC/PCS. Not sure if the same is true for the 300 though - so look for the button.

that certainly looks to be the case if you buy one today so has quite possibly always been the case.

Checked the 2005 brochure I have at home and ACC was an option only on the SE-L (and standard on the 430)!
