Hi Steve.

I still have to original adjustable struts as installed at the factory.

Hi,

Dependent on the specification Celsiors either have air suspension (airbags) or TEMS ( Toyota Electronic Modulated Suspension) which uses coil springs.

Do you have a height control button to the right of the gear selector? If yes you have air suspension if not lift the bonnet and look at the front suspension towers does it say TEMS on them? If yes you have springs fitted.

If you look at the picture of mine below you will see the 2 black top hat covers on the suspension struts, this is the coil spring TEMS type.

You are therefore on air suspension.

Cost of replacements ate extortionate, rebuilt ones are expensive from the USA.

You can make enquiries with Arnotts in the USA but be prepared for a shock (excuse the pun)

A lot of people have converted to normal suspension cheaper than trying to sort out AS.

Have a look at the link below

Just had another thought. Is the suspension OK where you saw the misting? If it is not dropping height over night and is still working correctly I would clean the tower, check the air line connection for tightness and see what happens before considering replacement.

Reason I mention this is because there is no fluid in the struts just airbags so there shouldn't be any liquid leakage.
