Do Haynes Do A Manual For The Lexus Ls400?

Hi just wondered if Haynes do a manual for the Lexus Ls400 because can't ever remember seeing one? always like to have one with every car that i own just incase something crops up! Cheers!

Nope, as the LS400 was the type of car more likely to be sent into a garage by it's owner, rather than service at home, there was not a demand high enough to warrant production of a manual.

Haynes decide whether to invest the time and money in producing a manual only if the demand would warrant it, and at the time these cars were new, any Lexus simply wasn't looked at as a 'home mechanics' type of car.

Lexus do a manual in 3 parts,not cheap but you soon recover the cost.

About £150, some appear on eBay occasionally.

Cheers all of the above! Thought it was a long shot as haven't seen one and as a posh car thought it might be on c d or the like! Great cars love mine 210,000 m reg on lpg with m o t all for £475. not had a single problem so far in the 3 months i have owned it! i could quite happily live with this car forever!

I bought one on CDROM by Mitchells for around a fiver, there are copies of the official workshop manual also on CD but quality does vary.

£475 - amazing value! Just what we were after for our journey to Prague this year - ended up shelling out a grand!
