Hi anybody
I have a battery jump pack in the boot of my very battery now flat gs300 lexus :-(, and cannot figure how to get into the boot to get the jump pack to restart the car as the switch is electronic to open it from the inside and tt's not working off the keyfob. Doenst help I reversed into a road sign and the boot is also out of alignment slightly. HELP any access via the interior seems impossible from the rear seats but does anybody know of a secret button or another way of gettign into it. I will of course charge it up and it will be fine after a while once the batteries charged I know.

Does the GS300 not have a key operated lock barrel above rear numberplate?

I was thinking the same I am sure my 99 GS300 had the key operated boot lock.
Another way would be to connect a 12 volt supply via the cigar lighter socket with the ignition key in the accessory position which should provide enough current to power the boot lock remotely.

My GS430 has a key op lock and a remote lever inside the car.

Yeah, my mk2 GS300 and GS430 have a key lock in the boot lid. Should do the trick.
