Can anyone suggest best Battery for 2004 sc 430 bearing in mind stood for longer than average in garage. Cheers

I have recently replaced mine with a genuine Toyota Battery for around £80.00.

My LS400 is often stood for a couple of weeks either in the garage or at the airport and this one nearly throws the engine out of the car when cranking even when it been stood this long.

I couldn't find another Battery at the same spec below £100.00.

I bought this for £65 delivered for my 2002 SC430 - LEXUS SC Petrol 300, 400, 430 - Solite 096 from http://www.thebatteryguys.co.uk/ working perfectly. Don't buy the bigger one, it doesn't fit under the bonnet!

Had Battery issues on both my GS and SC if left standing for a couple weeks - always flat. I bought an ABXAGM Battery part # AX570760

No problems since - It uses Absorbent Glass Mat and is dual cell - using similar tech to marine batteries for longevity plus normal car Battery for power output.

Definitely be careful as there are lots of Battery sites online that state batteries will fit the GS or SC and they don't. (mentioned by other poster too) although the above definitely fits my SC as a perfect fit. Can now leave my car for weeks without any issues.
