Alright guys, after quite some time finding all the bits just about within my budget (well a few quid over actually but I certainly can't spend any more) this is what I've come up with:

The bypass loom, facia and ipod lead are sorted and I've already got a sub and amp

The head unit will be the pioneer AVH-4400BT without doubt as it's perfect for what I want it to do. My concerns are for the front and rear speakers set up:

6.5" Speakers for the front: £19.99

18mm Spacers - http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2a1817659d

6x9s for the back £38.27

18mm Spacers - http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2318707caa

4 channel amp £67.99
http://www.caraudioc...405_p-27135.htm

Concerns are these:
Will this amp make a worthwhile sound quality difference? Or is it not worth it considering the head unit I could run the speakers from?
Are 18mm spacers too much or just right on either set?

Thank you in advance for anyone who can give me solid advice on what I've got planned!

Ditch the 6x9's and put a proper boxed subwoofer in the boot. Bridge channels 3 and 4 on the amp to get a decent amount of power to the sub.

Hi Hondaman, thanks for the reply but I've already got the sub and will be running it off a different amp which are both from my previous car.

I think you might also benefit from a set of component speakers instead of a coaxial pair. This way you will get a cleaner soundstage at the front.
