Vsc Light On Since Brake Change?

Had the discs and pads changed on my Mk2 GS430, as well as the wheelbearings by a local garage (non Lexus).

The car drives and brakes perfectly... but the VSC light is ON.

What could cause this? Anything that needed resetting?

The light does not come on when I start the engine, only when the car starts rolling.

The light should come on when you turn the key to the "on" position and then go out. From looking at the book it appears that repeatedly pressing the brake pedal can cause the light to come on for a few seconds. Have you tried pressing the VSC switch a few times? Is it just the VSC light or the VSC OFF light as well?

I tried the switch but no difference.

Both lights are on :(
