Hello and welcome to the LOC.

The lack of replies usually means no one knows what the problem is likely to be, not that we are being ignorant to a new member.

It seems strange that the fault cannot be made to appear on a rolling road, have you asked your mechanic to take the car out on a road test?

There have been cases where a fault in the ABS can cause strange vibrations under low speed braking conditions but this normally flags up a fault code and the ABS light will come on constantly to indicate this but it may be worth having a diagnostic check performed to see if there are any stored codes which may help diagnosis.

Also swop your tyres front to back to eliminate a possible cause with them.

This is assuming that the vibration is being felt through the brake pedal as other factors such as engine and transmission mounts can cause strange knocking/vibration effects.
