Extended Warranty Ireland

Hi guys

New to this forum and need a bit of advice please.

I am thinking of a 09 IS 220d with 83k miles from a main dealer in Dublin.

The thing is though there are some scary stories on this and other forums and it's putting me off a little.

I have read the LEXUS UK have an extended warranty for HG issues does LEXUS IRL have a similar arrangement ?

I don't know but I would think it would have a similar warranty. Call the dealer tomorrow. They will only change it under warranty once so check if it's already had it done. They will have full service and any warranty or recall issues on file.

My advice for what it's worth is get a 250 or if you have to have a diesel by a BMW or Audi. The 220D is a lovely car, I've driven it many times but because of the HG issues it does make you think twice :)

Motor tax here rules out a 2.5 , my local Toyota / Lexus dealer has a nice spec 220d

Have bought off them before
