Can anyone help me, my Lexus is running pretty well but lately I have been loosing power, car can be running fine all day then suddenly I have no power, no revs, I turn the car off, start it up again immediately and it's runs ok again, I think I may have little smoke from the engine. . .any ideas please ??

Steve2006..you're so right!! I dunno what I wad thinking: I guess I've got a car with too many problems :-(. Got brand new EGR heading now to replace it. ..see after that. By the way, there's no codes but "Check VSC" and TRC light on(right hand of the dashboard) along with malfunction indicator lamp (on the bottom left hand side of the dashboard) wich according to the manual could means 3big thinks: electronic control system, elec. throttle cont.syst. or elec. automatic transmission control sys...not my case/ is220d!

Any shared experience wich mite help it'll be more then welcome.

You need to get the codes checked.

The malfunction indicator lamp means that a "significant" code has been logged. (Not all codes will turn on the light, but the light ALWAYS means that there is a code).
