hi guy's could i get a little help with this problem.

found a nice set of used wheels with tyres

fronts are 17x8JJ/30 235 40 17

Back are 17x9jj/35 255 40 17

i beleive oem 17" wheels are something like f 45 and r 50 offset

ive got an is250, any issues with these, will i need spacers if so what size and wheres the best place to get a good set from, also wheels come with tyres but are 40 profile not 45 as on oem does this matter as its only slighter smaller.

i need reply asap please as i have to let the guy selling know soon to arrange collection

thank you

Could be a close fit with the comination you've mentioned, backs should be fine, fronts may have arch clearance issues on full lock.

If the car is lowered take this into account.

Have a look at the link below especially post 4 giving various offsets to tyre sizes.

Also you may need spigot rings if the bore is not 60.1.

Also put your current and proposed wheel/tyre details in the calculator below and it will tell you what you need to know.

http://www.1010tires...tCalculator.asp

Based on your present rims assuming they are 8JJ and 45 offset the fronts with the new wheels would have 15mm extra on both the inner and outer edges. So make sure you have at least 15mm between your present rim and the suspension components and enough arch clearance

Rears assuming again you presently have 8JJ/45 would have 3mm less on the inside so would clear the suspension but will protrude 23mm further out so you need to make sure your have enough arch clearance.
