Guys, A bit of advice please and apologies if this advice is elsewhere on the site but I cannot find it. I am looking to do a DIY service replacing the oil/filter, air filter and spark plugs. Is there a walkthrough on here or does anyone have one giving me an idea of how to do it on my is200. I have done it on other cars but not this one so have a basic idea. I am unsure where exactly the oil filter is..!!! I have looked but bizarrely cannot find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Oil filter is on the left side of the engine under the inlet manifold. Impossible to get at without getting under the car and even then it's a bit tricky. Once you're under there you'll see what I mean. Get it well up in the air as you'll need all the room you can.

Spark plugs are under the airbox, remove it and you'll see the coil packs, remove them and the plugs are deep in the top of the engine. You'll need plug sockets and extension bars to get them out, the trickiest one is at the bulkhead. To get it out you need to put the plug socket on an extension bar that when fitted on the plug just sits slightly higher than the cylinder head, to that fit a flexible joint and another extension bar, fit your ratchet to this and hold it steady to get the last plug out.

It is pretty simple if you have half an idea of what you are doing. These cars are not that complicated.
