So got new bonnet struts done, and good job too, as the nearside HID main went the same night.

So checked it out, and the Battery removal on nearside is a bit of a pain, but nothing too much.

However offside has the air intake in the way.

Question 1- Is it easy to get this out of the way, or should I remove the light unit, and then work on it from there.

Question 2 - Is it a D2S or D1S, I need, (Looks like the ones I have are 6000K so will stick with that)

Question 3 - Is there any recommendations on best place to get. (seems like best to avoid eBay on this one)

Any help appreciated.

Pete

Can't believe that bulb has only lasted 12/13 years, the older models have greater longevity, changed an original headlamp bulb on mine last month !

I always remove the light unit there are 3 bolts and 1 nut which can be accessed after the side light unit is removed.

The picture shows the passenger side but gives an idea where the mountings are.

Cheers Steve, I did wonder if the light out was best way, and I assume the side light is an easy-ish pop out as well.
