So a car I have been helping sort out over the winter, went for its MOT today and passed

This had been dry stored for over 10 years and is in pretty amazing condition

my dad used to have a series B Opel Manta (old S reg)...wicked car from what i can remember.

Problem he had with it was no2 piston ring used to fail, helped him do an engine change from a Berlinetta

Hi, nice looking Monza. I had 3 in all, two white GSEs. The last one I had before the start of the Lexus ownership, I had converted to have a Irmsher 3.6 ltr engine mated to the manual gearbox. The beefed up clutch did spoil the enjoyment a bit as it was so heavy.

I had an 1980 Opel Rekord 2.0S which was apparently the German version of the Vauxhall Carlton.

Lovely, My dad used to have one, but my fave cars he had (My fave car of all time in fact) were the Manta B's. Especially with the 400 KIT.
