A number of us are experiencing some issues relating to the engine on our 220d, such blocked egrs, fouling of the injectors, CAT/DPF problems, power loss/judders, smoke etc.. . While searching for an engine/egr/injector... cleaning product I came across;

www.terraclean.co.uk

Worth checking out the videos on the above link, it shows how the cleaning is done and has testimonials.

I also attach the honestjohn link

http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/news/miscellaneous/2013-02/new-system-cleans-carbon-from-direct-injection-engines/

Hope it helps. Your feedback will be useful to others.

I will get one done sometime in the future, had a new engine under warranty 10k ago because of the head gasket! Don't need a full clean yet.

Hello Prash, thank you for this but there have been a number of threads on this product. I started one back in September last year with a link to a video.

There has been a thread recently where one of our members has given it a go. I'll have a look for it and give you the link.
