That sounds like a reasonable charge to pay for smooth braking! There's a warning there for us all about the false economy of using parts that may be close but not quite up to the job.

I was offered pattern parts (I think they were Padgets? or something like that) for about £230 fitted, but for the extra £65 i preferred to have the genuine parts on the old gal. Gave her a bit of stick this afternoon and the brakes are now superb..
