Hi Martin

I would follow the service recommendations (every 2 years or 30K miles?) - check your history as well. It is possible to have the fluid checked for water content etc - if it looks bad then I would change it - especially if you don't know when it was last changed. Mine is not that new (nearly 2 years - I need to check) and looks as good as new.
