Hi,

I have recently brought a Lexus 2007 IS220d. The car is spotless except for the alloys.

My brother is selling his BMW 3 series and will let me have the new wheels he got for it, for a tiny fee.

All the information I have so far is they are 225/40/18 front and 235/40/18 rear mv2.

Please could someone tell me if they would fit my car

P.S. going to clean the EGR on the weekend ( thank you to all that have given instructions here) would some Redex in the fuel tank benefit this?

Thanks

Matt

The wheels have a different PCD so they won't fit your Lexus. You could get wheel adapters but I wouldn't recommend unless the wheels were really really precious.

Get the alloy refurbished...

If you were in Scotland i would have recommended Pentland Powder Coating.

I got mines done from them for £170 for all 4 wheels and they look amazing new again.

Thanks for replying.

The wheels aren't amazingly special, its just that they have 4 new tyres on and my Bro is practically giving them to me.

But as he lives 150 miles away I couldn't just pop round and try one on lol.

I'm not sure about the refurbishment as the front wheels have chunks ground out of them, The previous owner couldn't park without mounting the cerb!
