Tyre Noise From Ls 430 2001

Can anyone help? Having bought what I thought would be a very quiet car I am disappointed to find that I can barely hear my audio system unless on a very smooth surface.

The noise from the front tyres is very loud. Even at speeds of 40mph. This is after fitting good quality new good year tyres with 69 decibel rating. Plus professional wheel tracking.

I've heard that it does'nt happen on a 400. Not much help when I have a 430! Anyone have any ideas?

Sadly I will not be able to keep the car unless the problem is solved. This would be a pity because its such a good car in all other aspects

It's a very common problem on the ls430, that's just the way the car is made, it is very noisy and not as quiet as the ls400, you may have to live with it

I think my ls430 is really quiet, I think the tired sound louder as the rest of the car is that much quieter.

I found my 2004 430 had more road & wind noise than the 400 one of the reasons I went back to a 400.
