Newbie With Input Shaft Bearing Help

Hi all

I have just bought a 2000 is200 manual and i have the dreaded whine through all the gears!

I have bought a new exedy clutch kit but i also want to replace the input shaft bearing while its all in bits!

can anyone help me with some help on how to change the bearing? or a how to link? and also a part number for the bearing?

Tbh! It sounds supercharged, the engine also sounds a bit whiney till I put my foot on the clutch and it runs s silent again, so do you think it's maybe just the release bearing in that is noisy ? Thanks brett

On a push type clutch like fitted to the is200, the release bearing is only engaged when the clutch pedal is depressed.

My box was also noisy so I replaced the oil with Titan GL-5 75W90 gear oil.

What a difference.
