I just purchased a used 2001 GS 300 w/ only 16000 miles. GREAT car. Anyway everything on the car looks brand new accept the floor mats. If I can replace these worn floor mats I will practically have a new car. Any suggestions on where I might be able to purchase new Lexus floor mats? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah the vechicle was purchased for me at an auction. Anyway the floor mats that came with it are not even the actual GS 300 floor mats. I have NO idea what that is all about. I just know the mechanic I took the car to said it is in great shape and has a completely clean bill of heath with Carfax(Not that the Carfax report means much, but it still gives me a little peace-of-mind). Anyway my friend that owns a dealership said he can get the mats from Lexus for around $120 but I just thought I would check around. You never know what deals await you on the internet. Also any ideas on a wood-grain shifter knob for these? The only one I have been able to locate cost $330.00 which is RIDICULOUS!!!!! If that is the cheapest I can find I will stick with the leather one!!!! Thanks to everyone who has responded.

Funny you should mention floor mats.

I noticed they were missing when haggling over my recent purchase.

The saleslady promised to fit a new set.

Caused the most awful rumpus. Couldn't get 'em from anywhere so she nicked a set from a brand new GS340.

Apparently they're like hens teeth.

Lexus Sheffield are putting brand new ones in mine free of charge because of the niggles I have had with my car since I bought it. They are even picking my car up from work to sort out a couple of things and giving me a courtesy car. Nice one Lexus Sheffield ! :D

this is so they can sell you a new set when you purchase your car .

At well over £100 per set and probably at least half is profit, it's a good way to make some money. Having said that if you have Andorra trim (light grey) the mats do get dirty quickly and will never look like new again so it would be best to throw them.
