During the last three years I've been running 40 psi nitrogen in all four. Started with 36 psi and monitored the wear pattern when I bought the car in 2009 when it had the original tyres, and noticed the outer edges were wearing more in comparison to the centre. Gradually increased the pressure until I had even wear across the tread. Currently running 235/35-19 Super Sports on the front and same make 275/35-19 on the rears.

I'm running 40 in the back and 38 fronts .my tyres have nitrogen in them not air .i got it done a few weeks ago . It's awesum.

The pressures are always stable and helps with better fuel consumption too.try it stu it only costs a quid a wheel a ats

So it's only £4 at ATS to do all 4 tires with Nitrogen?

Hey David,

Just got back from my local Quik Fit. It's £1.50 a tyre (just shows it's cheaper up North! Lol), but for £6, wow! :)

Does feel nicer than it did on normal air. The young chap who got to do the work was really chuffed to drive my car as well! ;)

All in all, very pleased with it. Thanks for the tip fella.

If you're going to clay yours, goes without saying you need to use plenty of quick detailer or similar to keep the surface nice and moist.

Have fun! :)

Cheers.

Pete

Your welcome mate .yeh things are a bit cheaper up here like coats cos it's colder ha .

I'll take your advise on the clay mate thanks .raining now so won't be this weekend lol.

I'm pleased you've noticed a difference in the ride .it certainly does feel better and you shouldn't get any tyre pressure loss from now .

I have it in my van too , I've had it in for 3 years and never had to top the tyres up .
