Directional And Non-Directional Front And Rear?

I am looking at getting a set of yoko tyres for my is200, its sitting lowered on 18's, is it good to put directional tyres on the front and non directional on the rear? Does it make no difference? Or should it be the other way around?

I would keep all my tyres the same except its difficult to get the 2 sizes i need in any one type.

I had yoko pradas on my IS before and I prefer the Toyo's but that's just my opinion :)

Yea i normally go for Toyo's, but i thought i will give some yoko's ago, 1 came as a spare and i liked the feel of it (strange i know)

fronts are 215 40 18

rears are 235 40 18

Any wider and they rub the arches, any narrower and they dont look right on the rims

225/40/18 will not rub on standard suspension... I promise you! Ran that set up on 8.5j wheels for a couple of years. Also my 200 was a sport so slighter lower than SE or S models.

Also why are you running staggered set up? Is yours a sportcross?

I have wider rears, also dropped on a set of d2 coilobers with 18's, and i have tried 225's on the front and 245's on the rear, and they rubbed....

Yeah they'll rub if you're on coilovers!! Lol...

dont i know it, i can just about get a fag paper between the arch and the rubber with 235's on the rear
