Personalisation Of Rx300 2004

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I loved adjusting system setting on my audi A6 with Vag-com.

I'd love to change some things on the RX. I've read a double tap on the power boot button on the remote can be activated, deactivating the beep of the boot, auto locking doors over a certain speed etc.

So....how do I do this???!

Ben a Lexus owner for 14 hours, done a bit of research and read about 'C-Best' - is that a dealer tool? Can we not do our own system mods?

I've also read about hidden menus and key sequence presses??.....

Advise please gents.

I'm sure I've read somewhere that to deactivate the boot beep you have to get Lexus to change the default country codes to Dutch. From forums in the states they just unplug the speaker behind the boot door cover.

It's in the manual to auto lock the doors at a certain speed, I've done mine. I will have look and see if I can find it again.

Hi Steve, thanks for reply.

I'm very keen for the auto lock! My wife will be driving it too and it sits better with me that the 'anti hijack' lock is enabled. :0). Looking forward to activating it!
