Rx300 Without Roof Rails

Hi all, looking to join the fold with a 2003 SE-L, deal not done yet but pretty close. One thing, it doesn't have any roof rails? Was it an option to order one without them, or has someone ditched them do you think! Cheers and happy Easter :)

So can you order the plastic cover caps from lexus

I ordered mine from Lexuspartsdirect.co.uk

4 plastic covers (2 L and 2 Rt) £14.21 each 75595-48011 and 75596-48011

4 brackets £2.71 each 63185-4202 (these hold the covers on.)

VAT included and post included Total £67.68.

The bolts (and 8 washers) are just M8 x25's as shown in the article and can be got anywhere very cheaply, stainless would be safer. Read and follow the artice and it is very easy to do.

The parts are also available from Toyota dealers, same part nos, as they are also used on a model of Toyota (not sure which one).

Bet it's loads easier to clean the roof and sunroof glass without the rails on - hmmn...think I'll do mine as I know I'll never use the roof rails !

Hi all, long story short but I did a deal on a 2006 400h with 59k miles, private purchase, very happy and can't wait to collect it.

So the roof rails is not an issue as this one has them!

One small thing though, it has corroded wiper arms - is this normal, and are they an easy spanner off so I can rub down and spray in a satin black?
