just to say i am now the proud owner of a 2010 gs 450h se.l had it for a week and am loving it. are there any issues i should look out for?

Congratulations Yagga. I have an identical car and getting 500 miles from a full tank.ie. 35 mpg overall.

Tony is correct when he says watch out for the speed cameras !

The only problem I have had is that the USB Memory only reads MP3 or WMA.

Do enjoy what I am sure will be a delight to own and drive.

Hi John,

I was wondering about your gs450h at what speed can you go on hybrid before the engine kicks in? I was monitoring mine today and find it hard to run on just electric power at 20 miles an hour was wondering if that is normal?

The engine kicks in whenever the computer tells it that Hybrid Battery power is insufficient.

That can be immediately from cold, or after 5 or 10 or 15 or 20 mph. The engine stops whenever, the cars stops or whenever I am braking or take my foot off the throttle. When the left hand (electric?) gauge goes into the blue, then that is when I am driving most economically.

I`m off to Edinburgh in a few minutes, so will be out of touch for 24 hrs.
