Connect the seat belt............

Drivers belt should not be an issue as you should always wear a seat belt. Passenger side - should only warn when there is a person in seat ( weight sensors ) and should not give out warning with no occupant.

Hi is are you sure you a hearing the seat belt buzzer and not the reversing buzzer as on mine the seat belt buzzer will not go off untill you get to about 8mph. The reversing buzzer can be changed to 1 buzz when engaging reverse but only by the dealer.

The reversing buzzer can be changed to 1 buzz when engaging reverse but only by the dealer.

You can do this and more coding / diagnostic on your own using Android phone, Carista OBDII app (pro version costs abt £12) and OBDII BT adapter (abt £6.00).

today i have used the beta version of carista and the seat belt warnings can now be turned off, the options you have are

drivers ,passengers and rear they are all individual,it could be handy if you put boxes on the seat that set the alarm off

as you may not be able to fit them in the boot

if you sign up for a tester at carista then you get everything for free

including the overheating alert on your phone ,but for this to work

you will need an Bluetooth adapter plugged in.
