Hi Guys,

I have noticed more and more lately that my subwoofer is rattling about. I took it to an audio place today and they said I need a new one but they did not have any that would work due to different ohms?

I have found this on eBay does it look ok? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/01-06-LS430-Mark-Levinson-Rear-Subwoofer-NEW-genuine-Lexus-OEM-/191013124294?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c7944f8c6

Ideally I would prefer not to have to buy one from the USA.

Mine is a late 53 reg and is an early facelift model.

Have you tried one of the LS430's that are breaking on eBay? I don't know, but I can't imagine the speaker parts are different. You may get one at a fraction of the price as I'm sure most breakers won't be all that familiar with them being Mark Levinson.

Thanks for that info. I am useless on anything like that but it is interesting that an aftermarket sub may work. I hardly use the car so not 100% sure whether I should bother getting it fixed or not.

You can always get the re coned. I don't know what you have around your way but if you go into a proper musicians instrument shop they will put you in touch with who can do the job for you. Hope it helps. Mike
