Gen 01 Sat Nav Update (For A G430 2000)

I'm thinking of maybe getting a new disc. However before I part with best part of 200 euros I'd like to know if it's worth it.

There doesn't seem to be a lot of info on what the update does, or to what year it updates. Does it for example, allow postcode input? Or is it just more of the same with new roads?

If it is the same as my 2001 GS430 Sport, then updates stopped around 2009 if I remember correctly (I can pop the disc to double check if you like). So it will still be a good 4-5 years out of date.

And yeah, no new features, just slightly less out of date roads.

So it doesn't sound like it's worth spending so much. It's really more for my wife as I use TomTom/iPhone (plonked into one of those Bluetooth cradle things) which is wonderful. But TT is a bit too complicated for SWMBO !!
