Stone Chips On Roofline

HI All,

A quick poll of experiences.

On my RX450H I have got 3 stone chips on the roofline where it meets the windscreen (two right above the rear view mirror and one toward the passenger side). I would have thought that was an unusual area to get them?

Does anyone else have them there? Or have I just been unlucky?

The body shop that is doing my bumper (see expensive car wash thread) is going to sort these out, then I'll be looking to put some protective film on. He reckons that because the lip is slightly proud of the windscreen and there is no rubber seal there that it could re-occur.
