More Winter Tyres For Sale

Hi All,

As you probably saw my ISF has gone to a good home with another LOC member Alan. Alan didn't want the winter tyres as has another car for winter use.

That said I have a set of very lightly used winter tyres:

Quantity: 2

They are currently being stored at Lexus Sidcup, purchased in November last year and have only done about 500-750 miles.

Hi Matt this is bit off topic, but you might help me. I am looking for new 19" alloys for my IS 250 but could not find any wider rear on internet, at least not in Europe. That on your old IS-F sound like the ones. Were they OEM or aftermarket? Have you got a photo? Thank you

Hi Jaroslav,

The 19" staggered wheels are standard fit on an ISF, not sure it they would go straight on a IS250 - I would imagine so but you'd need to check at a Lexus dealer.

That said the 19" alloys are forged and very expensive - I did see a set once on eBay for £1k, think 4-5k at dealers.

I only have the tyres for sale.

Thanks, my current stagerred 17inch are of same colour. I tried Lexus dealer at Cork, IE, was not very helpful at all. Checking eBay might be an option.

500 quid is a bargain folks. Don't forget how much "fun" all the torque will be when the temperature drops. I've got some already....

So do you use the same rims Dave and get the summer tyres taken off etc

Don't know if he does but I do, costs £60 a time, rather less than a set of spare wheels...

The £60 a time for a Lexus dealer normally includes tyre storage in that price. If you just want them swapped over then my dealer charged £15

yes. Local mobile Tyre man comes round and changes them on the wife's shed too. I used to store them myself but this year said Tyre man is doing so for a bit of cash in hand.

if you've never tried winters then you won't believe them. Even with snow on the ground your car behaves as normal. Everyone else is stuck fast but you'll be fine. As long as you aren't stuck behind them mind. winter before last our family shed got us home in terrible conditions that left even Quattros stuck.
