Max many thanks for the reply and information.

The video looks good and the feedback looks very positive.

One question is it a difficult part to locate, remove and refit?

Thanks again

Cheers

I'm not sure for 220 model. I have is200 (LHD, 2004) and air mixture actuator was easily accessible, just near the glow box. Took me about 30 minutes to complete the job. I would advise you to remove the glow box first and then look inside and try to figure out which actuator is making noise when adjusting temperature. I remember that some of actuators were behind the vent ducts so you will probably have to remove some of them. And for refit, it will be in position you have adjusted it via temperature knob as soon as you put connector back on. Just take your time and be patient.

Once again thanks for the assistance.

I'm considering buying a second hand part and getting a garage to fit it, I have limited time and don't really have the know how to do the work myself.

Any thoughts or advice?

For brand new part it is OK to take it directly to garage but since you are going to use a second hand part, I would suggest you to test it first, and then open it and check for the gaps and put some dielectric (non conductive) grease on sliders and movable parts. If you have no time for that, ask them to do so before they fit it.
